Dr. George Richard is a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Surgeon. He specializes in all sports related injuries, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention. He has extensive experience in arthroscopic surgeries of the shoulder, elbow, and knee. He has a specific interest in baseball related injuries and is well versed in UCL reconstruction and repair.

Dr. Richard is a Florida native, having grown up in central Florida.  He earned his medical doctorate at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. While in medical school he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Florida and subsequently an Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Medicine Fellowship at the prestigious American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dr. Richard is heavily invested in education and sports medicine research.  He strongly believes in a team approach, communicating with other medical providers and physical therapists to ensure his patients get comprehensive orthopedic treatment.
